AI Application Intern

• Prompt-engineered and integrated VLM to company’s internal AI + Cybersecurity automated analysis platform.

Visiting Student

• Created and implemented batched parallel Speculative Decoding (SD) on top of vLLM to accelerate distributed LLM inference beyond conventional sequential SD.

Student Research Assistant (Part-Time)

• Conducted experiments in research of LLM and RAG and produced hundreds of empirical testing results for further analysis.
• Designed various LLM inference optimizing algorithms in accordance with profiling insights; reduced latency by 30% to 50% to ensure smooth operation of LLM services.

Cybersecurity Intern

• Performed development and testing using React, improved code quality and authored documentation of a Laboratory Management System for Cybersecurity Team.

ACADEMIC PROJECTS

• Proposed novel production-ready parallelism bearing high compatibility with existing vLLM deployments that obscures drafting overhead of Speculative Decoding.
• Trained multi-armed bandit deep learning network to predict number of accepted draft tokens and select best drafts for verification.

• Created three algorithms for optimising LLM prefetching policy and enhanced LLM inference throughput and latency on mainstream household PCs.

• Developed a proof-of-concept code and achieved reversing encryptions applied by an algorithm named “UFO”. Over 30 persons downloaded code release.

• Established a platform based on a mobile applet. Within 4 months, platform served hundreds of volunteers and advanced local community volunteering and engagement.

• Built a simple calculator web application with Go, Vue 3 and TypeScript. Repository has been cloned for over four thousand times since initial release.

Operations Director

• Liaised with directors from other CCA’s to de-conflict venues, securing venue for regular member trainings.
• Mentored four junior members on live sound mixing and oversaw first events in-charge of main committee members.

Logistics Executive

• Arranged logistics and manpower for two events and ensured fluency of normal flows.
• Soldered torn cables and managed equipment maintenance in logistics checks, diminishing hazards and potential issues in future events.

• Devised a CPU-centered mechanism to support efficient LLM weight and KV cache prefetching and offloading.
